Jeffrey Epstein Philanthropy
Supporting innovation in science, education and international peace accords.

About

Jeffrey Epstein Philanthropy is a part of the The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation. The foundation was established in 2000 to support cutting edge science and science education around the world. Since then, the foundation has expanded to other fields and is an active supporter of innovative programs in education, youth initiatives, international peace accords and medical research. The foundation is based in New York City, New York, and in St. Thomas in the the US Virgin Islands.

In 2003, the Foundation established the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University with a $30 million grant. The Program studies the evolution of micro life systems using the tools of mathematics. The Program is the first of its kind to identify the evolving kinetics of human cancer cells and numerous viruses. The Program has also done original research into the origins of life from basic RNA chains. The Program is under the direction of Martin Nowak, Professor of Mathematics and Biology at Harvard University and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Much of the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation's work supports the research conducted at the Program of Evolutionary Dynamics today.
